Hello World,

So for this week, I have been scanning all of the articles and then uploading them to a box network. This has been taking up more time then I had originally believed so I will be decimated most of Friday to it.

I have tried to sign into my website, but I have been having issues. Something to talk to Doctor McClurkenson about soon I guess. I hope to have all of them newspapers scanned by Monday and my tab including them next Tuesday.

Since I am going to LDAC next week and drill this weekend, time is something I am having to squeeze by the throat but I am making due.

By scanning two years of articles, I have realized just how obsessed with baseball my county was during WWI. There is a mention of ┬áthe team or scores at least every three articles. Its interesting what we used to distract ourselves in times of trouble isn’t it?

That’s all I can think to write for now. More on Friday.

Until then.

The intent of this blog is to profile the work I will be doing as I research and collect artifacts about what my great community did during the Great War and its direct aftermath.
