Blogging for the teachers of WWI

Was able to sit down with a friend of mine who has a scrapbook filled with various photos of her firefighting family. She had a ton of stuff…..all from WWII and after. But in spite of this set back I’ve tracked down the number of an educator at the Windham textile Museum hopefully I can get some answers there.

I hope you can find some more leads. I have to keep reminding people that I’m not researching WWII, it’s WWI. I guess 1914 sounds a lot like 1943. I hope you learned some interesting stuff about firefighting – even if it wasn’t able to work into your website!

She was pretty disappointed that she couldn’t help out. I checked out her scrapbook and the pictures were very fascinating. I love the personal connection people have with history. Its too bad a lot of people don’t really hang on to stuff like that.
