This website chronicles the journey of one technologically-challenged girl (yours truly) through the world of digital history.  As a lover of all things vintage, whether they be classic musicals, novels, or art, navigating the digital life might be a bit difficult at first, but I hope that over the course of the semester I might become an avid lover of the modern as well.  Here’s to a grand adventure!

In particular, this site is part of a larger Century America project that will compile artifacts and histories from eleven colleges across the United States and reflect the home front experience during World War I.  I, along with Candice, Jack, and Leah, will research life at the University of Mary Washington and the larger Fredericksburg community during the Great War.  We can’t wait for the final outcome of our research and that of the overall project as well!
